We introduce a minor release that integrates the power of GenAI into CLEVVA, along with an update to the front-end that now supports free text chat interactions using the CLEVVA App.
๐ New features
New software features refer to additions or improvements made to CLEVVA, designed to enhance its functionality, usability, security, or performance. They aim to provide users with added value, improved efficiency, and a better overall experience when using the CLEVVA application.
Chat enablement
We are excited to announce the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) Large Language Models within the CLEVVA App, marking a significant advancement in creating a more dynamic and conversational experience for end users.
Key Enhancements:
-
Inferring End-User Intent: Users can now enter free text into the web interface, allowing the CLEVVA App to interpret their requests and match them to the appropriate menu options, enabling seamless access to the correct journey.
-
Understanding End-User Tone: The CLEVVA App can now detect and respond to the sentiment expressed in free text. If frustration is detected, the app will acknowledge this and hand over the journey to a live agent.
-
Contextual Conversation Shifts: Users have the flexibility to change the context of their current journey simply by entering a new request in the free text field, allowing for an adaptable interaction.
-
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): The front-end now supports providing concise, relevant information when a question is detected. This ensures that the CLEVVA App remains within the scope of the clientโs business by utilizing supporting and informational documents supplied by the client.
-
Agent Handoff: At any point, users can request to speak to an agent, and the conversation will be routed to a live agent.
These enhancements significantly improve the user experience by leveraging advanced AI capabilities to make interactions more intuitive and responsive.
Please note, that these features are currently only available for the web interface.
New Advanced CLEVVA Language (ACL) functions (V3.2.5)
We are pleased to announce the addition of new ACL functions that enable the chat enablement capabilities within the CLEVVA App. This enhancement unlocks the potential for more complex build scenarios, offering flexibility and functionality that were previously difficult to achieve.
Comprehensive technical documentation detailing the new ACL functions will be published soon to guide you through these updates.
Front-end enhancement
To enhance the user experience and support the new free text interaction capabilities in the CLEVVA App, we have added a free text field to the user interface. This allows end-users to interact more naturally with the web interface by entering text directly. The interface is also able to return information that has been stored in a pop up box when the user asks a question.
